Hotels, motels, and cozy bed and breakfasts, the North Shore has a room to suit your preference and budget. The Holiday Inn and Suites, situated on the north side of the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, is conveniently located with easy access to Highway #1. A full service hotel, it offers many on-site amenities including a pub, spa, beer and wine store, lounge and the Pantry Restaurant.

The newly renovated Lonsdale Quay Hotel, located on the waterfront right next door to the Sea Bus, has spectacular views of Vancouver's busy harbour and downtown. A new lounge, business centre, and spa treatment rooms are some of the hotels newest additions.

Five of the North Shore's motels, including the Comfort Inn and Suites, Best Western Capilano Inn and Suites, Grouse Inn, Lionsgate Travelodge and North Vancouver Hotel are situated on lower Capilano Road, near favourite tourist attractions. Most offer a number of rooms with kitchenettes and complimentary breakfasts and all offer free parking.

And if you decide to stay with local residents in a Bed & Breakfast, there are a variety of B&Bs, each offering a very personalized touch, that are nestled within the local community.

Pet-Friendly Accommodation

If you're travelling with a pet, be sure to mention it when you're booking your accommodations. Today, more hotels and motels are accepting pets. Bed and breakfasts generally do not accept them because they often have pets of their own.
